The unit was comfortable, clean and enjoyable. Enjoyed the grill, deck, DVD collection, seats by the water guests were all so nice! Date of stay: August Cleanliness. Sleep Quality. Room Tip: All rooms face river. We had upper unit, so vaulted ceilings were nice. Helpful Share. Pam B wrote a review Sep Maumee, Ohio 63 contributions 53 helpful votes. These 16 condo style cabins are modern, updated and have a lovely view east of the Fall River, which is directly on the property with all cabins overlooking the River and Castle Mountain. There are 4 condo buildings each with 4 cabins, two upper and two lower. We stayed in 11, a one king sized bedroom, one full bath with full kitchen, living area with fireplace, table for dining, outdoor upper deck overlooking the Fall River and a gas grill on the parking area side of the building. The windows were left open upon our arrival which was so nice to have the fresh air with the ceiling fans in the living and bedroom circulating fresh air in the cabin condo. We slept with the windows partly open and you can hear the peaceful sound of the River at night lulling you to sleep.
This is a fairly busy road, route 34 but the Fall River entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park is less than 2 miles up the road so makes for a perfect location if you want to visit the park and the quaint town of Estes. It is quiet despite being close to the road. The cabins and little bridge over the River onto the property have lights that are lit at night which makes the property look magical. There are comfortable Adirondack chairs to sit by the River and have a glass of wine.
The bed is comfortable and everything is so clean. The owners obviously take great pride in keeping up the property and the condos themselves inside and out. Woodlands on Fall River did not disappoint us! This place was just as it advertised. My husband became ill the day we arrived and thankfully this place was comfortable for him to be able to rest and recover. The bed was super comfortable and the property was so peaceful! Makes for easy entrance into the park. We will definitely be back again to the beautiful property.

We have stayed here for many years, with no real complaints. This time the lower windows had stripped gears. Someone at the front desk told my husband not to try to close and open the windows. We were also told that a bear had opened windows next to us and had raided the fridge. So my husband spent at least 30 minutes making sure the windows could be securely latched. It would not take too much time for a handyman to fix this problem. Right in the city center, parking under the hotel. Loved it. Free orange juice in the fridge waiting for us was a great bonus. The rooms and the breakfast. The boat ride was great :.
The indoor swimming pool on the top floor offers panoramic views of the area. I like this hotel and often choose it for staying in Gdansk. The location is excellent - it is in the heart of the old city. The hotel is new, modern, clean. The breakfast is very very good - may be even the best among the hotels of the same level. The food is tasty and choce is various, there are good fresh juices and the restaurant where breakfast takes place is nice-looking contemporary designed. Having breakfast there is a pleasure! The bed is comfy, the bathroom is really beautiful. Good facilities - pool, sauna. Good location. Good value for money. Free WiFi can be enjoyed throughout the property.

We recommend to stay here. Looking for something even fancier? It has everything from fascinating history and great architecture to a friendly atmosphere! Also known as Danzig due to its complex past with periods of Polish, German and self-rule, the city is part of the Tricity urban area together with the port city of Gdynia and the popular spa town Sopot. Its charming buildings were rebuilt in a historical style after the city's near-complete destruction during World War II.

Also the Chinese restaurant at river Wolne Miasto hotel perfect location. Great staff, very friendly. The bed was too soft though, and room rather dark. Taxis arrrived in 2 minutes.. Gdansk has a wonderful mix of rich and turbulent history and is presently fastly developing in a modern city, without losing its historical characteristics.
The city centre is rather compact and almost everything can be reached by foot. The public transport is sufficient and with a '24hrs metropolitan ticket' all means of transport in Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia are within reach. Also, the neighbouring city of Sopot is interesting for its 6km. The hotels are plenty for every budget and so are the bars and restaurants. We stayed in the hotel Gdansk, which is combined with a genuine brewery with wonderful 'wit beer' and lagers.
The old city is charming AF. There are some super nice place to visit outside of the city as well. Just do a little research. Recommend a walking tour around Old Town--several old buildings are now museums. Lots of restaurants and shopping. I did a Walkable tour, which was good. Solidarity center is 20m walk to the north, but also worth visiting for recent history. Make sure you take a day trip to Malbork castle, which is a m train ride away.
Nice city. Cruise on Motlava river was the highlight. Very affordable. You can sit in any restaurant without worrying about the check. Many attractions to pick from. You can cover everything in 1 day just walking along the river. I would visit again if I get a chance,. Read some reviews and wasnt expecting too much, but everything was great, the room was simple but functional, beds very comfy and hotel very clean. The location is amazing as is the view, you can get a uber into old town or the ferry for around the same price. The staff were very helpful even if they did struggle with our accents sometimes, would like to especially give credit to the guy who works in the bar, he really was great, so friendly and funny.
We paid to use the spa and had it to ourselves for two hours, and the food in the restaurant was great, although there was no specific vegan option they adjusted dishes for me. The hotel has a lovely beach near by, all in all would recommend. Very good location, in the heart of the tourist area. Traditional building outside, modern room with all the comforts inside. Good value breakfast.
